Census Bureau reports Mayo population was 8,656 in 2017


Mayo had a population of 8,656 people in 2017, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained by the Maryland Business Daily.

Mayo is a census-designated place in Maryland. The median age of Mayo residents was 43, with 49.7 percent of the total population being female and 50.3 percent male.

The state’s total population in 2017 was 5,996,079.
