61 percent of applicants to Stevenson University were admitted for fall 2017


At Stevenson University, 85 percent of undergraduate students are traditional students - age 24 or younger - and 66 percent are female, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The four-year private not-for-profit institution in Stevenson enrolled 3,876 students in fall 2017, including 3,397 in undergraduate and 479 in graduate programs, data shows. 6.5 percent of undergraduates transferred from another college or university.

69 percent of undergraduates are residents of Maryland, and 30 percent are residents of other states.

The undergraduate student body is comprised mostly of students who identify as white (55 percent) and Black or African American (28 percent).

The school admitted 61 percent of the 5,533 students who applied for fall 2017. Of those who were admitted, 20 percent enrolled.
