About 30.1 percent of the 365 degrees and certificates handed out by the Cecil College in 2016-17 were to students in Liberal Arts and Sciences, General Studies and Humanities programs, making them the most popular programs that year, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The agency's National Center for Education Statistics shows the public institution in East conferred 110 associate's degrees in Liberal Arts and Sciences, General Studies and Humanities programs.

But the single most popular program was for a associate's degree in Liberal Arts and Sciences/Liberal Studies. Data shows the school gave out 57 associate's degrees in Liberal Arts and Sciences/Liberal Studies, followed by 53 associate's degrees in General Studies and 51 associate's degrees in Business Administration and Management, General.

The college enrolled 2,612 students for 2016-17, all of whom were enrolled in undergraduate programs.
