About 41.6 percent of the 555 degrees and certificates handed out by the Wor-Wic Community College in 2016-17 were to students in Health Professions and Related Programs programs, making them the most popular programs that year, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The agency's National Center for Education Statistics shows the public institution in Salisbury conferred 149 associate's degrees and 82 certificates in Health Professions and Related Programs programs.

But the single most popular program was for a associate's degree in Liberal Arts and Sciences, General Studies and Humanities, Other. Data shows the school gave out 106 associate's degrees in Liberal Arts and Sciences, General Studies and Humanities, Other, followed by 77 associate's degrees in Registered Nursing/Registered Nurse and 63 certificates in Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse Training.

The college enrolled 3,091 students for 2016-17, all of whom were enrolled in undergraduate programs.
